Our History

Via-fresh was founded in 2008 with the goal of seeking new alternatives in the marketing of agricultural products. Initially, we focused on apples , but quickly expanded our offering to include onions and watermelons .

Our mission has always been to meet the needs of our own production and provide high-quality products to our customers. Over the years, we have grown and diversified our operations, establishing ourselves as a trusted and respected supplier in the agricultural industry.

Our products

From the fields of the municipality of Cuauhtémoc, in the agricultural heart of Chihuahua, we grow products that stand out for their freshness and flavor.

Thanks to a well-defined harvest schedule and responsible cultivation practices, we guarantee high-quality products during their peak seasons.

Every stage, from planting to final selection, is carefully curated to offer the best of the Chihuahuan countryside.

APPLE

The apple is one of our flagship products, with different varieties such as Golden, Red Delicious, Gala, Supreme, and Granny Smith, grown under strict quality controls.

Thanks to our staggered harvest schedule and storage in specialized refrigerated warehouses, we can offer apples from August to April, ensuring continuous availability and fruit at its peak for most of the year.

We offer different presentations

designed to adapt to each stage of the value chain: from the classic tray, bulk plastic, and 300 kg bins for large-scale distribution, to our 600 g and 1.36 kg school bags, ideal for everyday use.

Each presentation is designed to provide practical handling, optimal product preservation, and an attractive image at the point of sale.

PRODUCTION

We have a robust and specialized infrastructure that allows us to operate efficiently and continuously throughout the year.

Thanks to our logistics and refrigeration capabilities, we can handle up to five daily shipments and pack up to 6,000 boxes per day, maintaining the quality and freshness of our products from the field to their final destination.

OUR orchard

A carefully managed natural environment, where we optimize every resource to enhance production. The presence of pollinating trees and the constant work of bees allow for abundant and efficient flowering.

Thanks to the size of our orchards, we can transform this natural balance into real production volume, ensuring quality fruit with every harvest.

At Via-fresh we also grow onions in their three main varieties: white, purple, and yellow.

For the 2023–2024 season we achieved a production of 1,000 tons , with a projection of 1,200 tons for 2025 .

Our onion harvest is concentrated between May and July, ensuring a fresh, firm product with excellent shelf life for immediate distribution.

watermelon

 At Via-fresh we grow seeded and seedless watermelons, adapting to the preferences of different markets.

For the 2025 season , total production is estimated at 3,400 tons , of which 800 tons are seeded watermelons. Our seedless varieties include Essence, Sugar Red, Endless , and Joy Red , selected for their sweetness, intense color, and excellent post-harvest performance.

Our watermelon is available from May to July , a period during which we guarantee fresh, juicy fruit at its ideal point of ripeness.
